There’s been a twist in the production of so many fashion pieces, just so they can look better or merely to suit the insatiable demand for more men’s style. Some of this changes may or may not be new per say, but the novelty that surrounds them suggest so. Tee shirts which is the main reason for this article seems to have been, first, they were used by the U.S military as undershirts which over time systematically enhanced the use so much it became accepted as a default garment to be worn whilst carrying out any kind of task. When the fashion boom of the 60’s came, it was easier for it to be the number one go-to apparel for use both as an undershirt and as a casual outfit.
The materials used to produce the tee shirts are basically derived from cotton which was further joined by seams on the side, Although modern versions have been developed from continuous woven tube, on a circular loom so that the torso has no seams. Yet, there are more than a hundred reasons for a unique and more socially adoptable, fashionable tee shirt that cannot be worn for indoor tasks, sporting activities but well embodies an extremely elegant finish.
These new lines of fashionable tee shirts are designed generally of choice leather and cotton materials sewn into each other so that a pattern is formed. This type apparel are designed and sewn to taste, with extra accessories like zipper and buttons attached making it easier to be construed as a casual shirt instead of the new day high-end tee shirt that it is. In contrast to the traditional tee shirt, this new designs have a zipper installed on either of the shoulders this is done to avoid the risk of a tear and to allow for easy fitting, the cotton material may be sewn into place at joints where there are high risk of a tear, yet in a situation where the design does not require a cotton material in that area it is best to use the zipper. Shirts like this comes both in half and long sleeves and are generally affordable. There are only a few genuine manufacturers of these designs in the West African sphere country that I know who do not engage in mass production of any form or low quality production; check out fashion designer Onwuchekwa Daniel Chikezie on Instagram @onwuchekwa_bcd.
