As one of the most important piece of men’s fashion, the belt has sustained and obviously maintained its position and as one of the easiest way to make a statement. Especially when you are spotting a brown shoe, if you layer this with a brown belt the overall outlook becomes really catchy due to this minute detail and visual balance wearing a belt creates.
A belt’s use becomes questionable when the waist of the trouser is fitting. especially for bespoke suits, because they are made to measure the waist of the trousers can easily fit. Primarily, the use of the belt is to keep the pant fastened to the waist to avoid sagging or an eventual drop of the trouser. Until recently, sartorial gods deemed the services of the belt of no interesting use.
There are but a few times when one has to use a belt:
1. When wearing jeans, there is no point going with a belt, instead use an appropriate belt.
2. If belt loops are provided on the waist of your trousers, most certainly you need a belt or if you choose not to, find a classy suspenders and style away.
3. If you are wearing a tuxedo or a suit, going the beltless way can add more credits to your appearance.
4. If you are wearing a short, you certainly do not need a belt.
5. Finally, depending on your personal style, not wearing a belt makes for a perfect way to get away from the unimpeachable accessory.
These amongst others are the few ways a man can show off his sense of style, detail and good taste.
The use of belts is undergoing a more reduced use and this fact to me is just stylish. Like I have reported before, what makes a piece more trendy or fashionable than another is the novelty that surrounds the use of such piece. A well thought out outfit and without a belt, to a greater extent a more formal ensemble; a suit up without a belt is novel and deserves a place in the hierarchy of style.
