I’m a music person, I love it a whole lot… maybe a bit more than the normal person. I don’t know how many songs i have on my PC if you ask me, but they are certainly much. I seek out for new songs everyday and my favorite sites to download good Nigerian songs from are: Tooxclusive.com and Abegmusic.com, they never fail me. Abegmusic.com may fail every once in a while when they have do maintenance, still they always keep it 100.
When I download songs, I don’t just download any song I see on the internet, I’ve tried to download any song from these sites earlier this year when no Nigerian artist was going to drop anything new believe me, it was much of an awesome experience. I believe music is art, and who ever gets into the booth to make music should do them, that is, something original. All the noise making and wasting beat isn’t going to get anyone anywhere.
One of the few Nigerian acts I respect are, 2 face Idibia now 2Baba, Wande coal, Wizkid, MI Abaga, Burna Boy, Iyanya, Waje, Bez, Dare, Omawunmi etc… so when you go through my playlist anytime you are going to find a piece from any of these guys. They always do it right.
Enough said, so I was looking for new songs a few days back and I discovered this new video from Dj Spinall’s Album where he featured 2Baba and Wande coal, quickly I hit the download button and when I paused to catch a glimpse at the video, I find one major absurdity, maybe to me but I cannot remember seeing 2Baba like this ever…. Maybe I have and cant remember or perhaps I remember, but at this point I would like to pretend I don’t remember. though the appearance and general outlook is cool, yet I wouldn’t expect to see 2baba dressed like this in any video. A blue sweat shirt, with a matching tie and on a white button down shirt, plus a pocket square – wonderful. I haven’t seen the video till the end to find out what the other half of this setup is, look out for the video.
